Finishing off this week has been pretty awesome. Friday night I was pretty tired. Still, mustered the love energy I have to make my husband's Saturday Lunch for work (cheesy pasta sauce whole wheat spaghetti seasoned with garlic salt and pepper), put the dishes away from the dishwasher, throw a load of laundry in, put more dishes in the dishwasher and patiently tried to wait up for my husband. I fell asleep.
Saturday I (Jen) worked a mid-shift and it was uber busy!! As it seems to always be at Starbucks in Riverpark by AT & T. When I was done with work (which was 45 minutes after my scheduled time off cause it was so busy) I met up with my awesome friend Amanda at Chipotle. She took me for a birthday dinner!!! So yum! Our friend Sharayah joined us not too long after. THEN Amanda...being far to amazing for me...took me to Mulan Massage on Blackstone & Nees and we got 40 minutes massages for my birthday! Ammmaazziiing!!
Eric worked late last night so I was sleeping when he got home but he gently woke me up at 1 a.m. to say hello and then I feel asleep again. When my alarm went off at 3:30 a.m. guess who was still up waiting for me? That's right!! Eric. It was super sweet and I loved waking up and that he was waiting up til I woke up so we could actually see each other before I left for work. I opened, had an awesome morning with the team! Was off by 12 p.m. Came home. Woke my sleepy husband up. He made me crepes. We (he) watched the game ...I took a nap. We got up, did some minor grocery shopping. Did yard work. Showered. Read. And had chips and dip for dinner (it's how we roll).
All in all...a fabulous weekend!!!! Busy at work means we have business and that's great!! Amazing friends...an incredible gift!!! Fun team to work with (who doesn't look forward to having that type of work environment) Time with my husband no matter what we were doing...pretty fantastic!!!
Great way to end the week. Grateful. Blessed.
