September Vacation

We are so grateful - we get to look forward to three vacations a year!!!  For our first September Vacation as a married couple (not including our awesome honeymoon) we took a little over a week off.  It was AMAZING.  

Friday, Sept16th we headed down south to good ole Anaheim!  Disneyland bound!!  We checked in to our hotel and ate at Bubba Gumps! (it had been ages since either of us had been- so delish)  

Then we went to sleep and woke up at 6 a.m.!!!!!!!!!  Yep. We were there to open the park!!  It was soo cool....they let us in a few minutes early and we stood on main street and when 8 a.m. hit - a welcome was announced overhead and seriously magical disney welcome music - it was a pretty cool experience.  We rode soooooo many rides! We went to Dowtown Disney for dinner both days - that's right BOTH days....we were able to enjoy our time at Disneyland for two wonderful magical days!!  We had so much fun - I am such a kid when it comes to seeing the characters and parades and shows.  Eric says "aw your cute" - haha.  We even got to stand in line (with lots of kids) to see Mickey (that was all me - I convinced my husband)

Monday on our way home we stopped in Burbank for a VIP Studio Tour at the WB - it was so cool!  It was our second time there and a much different tour then the first one we had taken last year but very cool nonethless.  We saw George Lopez's pimped out Golf Cart. We walked the set of the Mentalist.  Took a picture on the Friends Set. Saw Jamie Presley.  It was really pretty rockin!  We totally recommend it a thousand times over!

The week went by and we did several other things- like laundry- yardwork- clean - haha all that other fun stuff. But we enjoyed some time just together- bbq-breakfast-it was just really good and needed time together!!  No work. No rushing to do something else. Just us. Home or wherever and we loved it! 

Friday we headed up north to Monterrey!  We went to the Aquarium, walked Cannery Row- at dinner there- and enjoyed just a beautiful day away!  

and that's a baby shark!  it shall be a great white shark soon enough - scary.

at the end of our vacation - my mom's sister and niece came to visit her from San Diego - we were able to spend the weekend with them.  We don't get to seem them often - and it was their first time meeting Eric so it was even that much more special!

We are both back at work now - but we had an awesome time during our week full of fun adventures! We are so grateful we were able to have this week together....a year ago this time - we declared that we loved each other - then we knew....and now we are Mr. and Mrs. Richmann....
