Rainy Reception in June

Who would've thought that in June, it would be raining and cold! In April our concern was, "we hope it's not too hot when we have the party" we never thought we would be scrambling for ez-ups and super mario cleaning our house for guests to be inside and get this..have our fire place going in June!!!! Seriously. Who would've thought?!? Through the stress, mini meltdowns and emergency planning we had a beautiful rainy reception in June! Through amazing friends we were able to pull off a last minute keep us dry party! We have a huge beautiful backyard and I had envisioned the entire thing, I had to quickly scratch that June 1st when I realized that the rain was not gonna go away. We have wonderful friends who really went above and beyond for us!
We did our celebration, backyard potluck style and it was pretty fantastic!!! Our friends and family totally rocked it with bringing amazing dishes, providing wine, setting up and tearing down the party! We really could not have had such a successful party without the help of each person that attended!!! Each person truly did pitch in to help us celebrate our union! Every detail from my friend Caitlin coming over to do my hair, to Cori's talented creative touch on the signage and wine glasses to the wine to the cupcakes done by Sweetly Baked to the yummy croissant sandwiches and so much more tasty food, to the table cloths to the memory guest book, to the pictures to the kiddie bags decorated by the Starbucks girls...



It was a perfect Rainy Reception in June and we loved it!
